Nordpil offers freelance consultancy services in custom map design and cartography, in illustrations (charts, diagrams and other graphics) and in geographic information systems (GIS) including research and data preparation. Map design includes interactive maps (WMS, ArcIMS) and thematic maps. In addition we provide training in better visual communication and map-making.

Custom cartography, in particular small-scale thematic maps.
Visual communication in the form of charts, diagrams and maps.
Layout and graphics design of reports, newsletters, brochures and other printed matter, including online versions.
Data management and research, both geospatial and statistical.
Internet presentation of geographic data and building of interactive map applications, using tools such as ESRI ArcIMS/ArcSDE/ArcGIS Server, Google Earth, OGC WMS and open source tools.
Web design and web applications, primarily using ColdFusion, CFML and OpenBlueDragon.
Training in visual communication and mapmaking.
