Globalis Biodiversity

With funding from the Norwegian Government, the Norwegian UN Association has continued to expand the Globalis information service.

Globalis presents facts, maps and statistics on sustainable development and the world. Its target audience is Norwegian high school students.

During the preparation of the biodiversity portal, Nordpil supported the website team by managing data and by preparing interactive maps on conservation, ecology and biodiversity.

Themes presented in the interactive map service include biodiversity indices, threatened species and world biomes.

Data was researched from current scientific and popular publications, acquired and prepared as map layers with very high detail.
