Nordpil offers freelance consultancy services in custom map design and cartography, in illustrations (charts, diagrams and other graphics) and in geographic information systems (GIS) including research and data preparation. Map design includes interactive maps (WMS, ArcIMS) and thematic maps. In addition we provide training in better visual communication and map-making.

Maps for Arctic conservation

Nordpil has just completed a minor project for the Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna (CAFF).The maps will be published in early 2010, and illustrate issues related to conservation in the Arctic.

CAFF is a working group under the Arctic Council, and the illustrations were commissioned by the CAFF secretariat, based in Akureyri, Iceland.

More details and samples will be posted on Nordpil.com when the maps are published.
